Social justice in the classroom begins with teachers’ examining themselves and their own social identities. Only after teachers and administrators have done this initial work is it possible to do real curriculum development and implementation to promote an anti-bias approach. Working with schools at all steps of this process, Dr. Joshi helps educators envision and achieve inclusive, culturally-responsive strategies for working with students, parents, and each other.
